 About Siobhan

Yoga Teacher & Holistic Therapist

 

With over 25 years of yoga teaching experience and 13 years as part of YogaBellies, Siobhan brings deep knowledge, compassion and a sense of calm to every class and treatment.

​

A former competitive acrobatic gymnast and high-performance coach, Siobhan began her wellbeing journey more than 30 years ago, training in Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Swedish Massage at just 18. She went on to run her own successful practice in Glasgow’s West End for seven years before expanding her expertise into a wide range of holistic therapies including Kinetic Chain Release, Integrated Energy Therapy, Angelic Reiki, Holy Fire Reiki, Munay-Ki rites, Pregnancy Reflexology and Frequency Healing. She is also currently studying Silent Counselling.

Siobhan’s yoga path began in 2001, training with Julie Hanson in ChiBall - a unique blend of yoga, Pilates, tai chi, Feldenkrais, meditation and deep relaxation. Inspired by the benefits of mindful movement and holistic exercise, she soon went on to qualify in Hatha Yoga with CYS Scotland and children's and teen yoga with YogaBugs, before specialising in women’s yoga with YogaBellies, where she also trained teachers for HQ as an SYT Teacher Trainer. Having guided more than 1,000 women through their pregnancy and postnatal journeys, she continues this work today while also creating a supportive space for women at her weekly Luna Yoga classes.

As a proud mum of seven, Siobhan understands the realities of busy lives and creates a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels at ease. Alongside her teaching and therapies, she has always been passionate about giving back to her community - from volunteering at The Dunblane Centre to co-founding The Wellbeing Circle CIC in Stirling, which makes workshops, yoga classes, therapies and wellbeing events accessible to all.

At the heart of her work is alignment - physically, emotionally and energetically. Through yoga and Kinetic Chain Release, Siobhan helps the body find ease and balance. With Reiki, Frequency Healing and other energy therapies, she supports alignment of the mind, emotions and subtle energy centres. This whole-person approach to healing is the inspiration behind her new space, ALIGN YOURSELF - a place for people (and animals) to reconnect, realign and restore harmony.
